Altarboy
Synopsis
After being rejected by his family for being gay, eighteen-year-old Theo is sent to a Catholic church. His conflict with the young priest Alexander develops into a forbidden relationship that puts both their futures at risk.
Story guide: what to expect
Theo's rejection by his family and placement in a church establish a conflict between belonging, religious expectations and a forbidden relationship. Alexander's role as a young priest adds another institutional stake to their personal choices. This is a different premise from the catalog's wealth and revenge stories, so the preview can help readers decide whether its relationship-centered tension is what they want. No age rating, content rating or resolution is inferred from the synopsis.
