Stop! That Homeless Man Is an American Hero!
Synopsis
Ethan brings a fallen comrade's ashes home but is detained and abused by a sheriff who mistakes him for a vagrant. When the ashes are desecrated, an old army subordinate arrives and threatens to expose Ethan's real identity.
Story guide: what to expect
Ethan's journey begins with a duty to a fallen comrade, rather than a quest for wealth or romance. The sheriff's assumption about his appearance turns that duty into a conflict over dignity and concealed identity. The arrival of a former army subordinate introduces the possibility that the people mistreating him have misunderstood whom they are dealing with. This premise is worth sampling for viewers interested in military recognition and status reversals; no real-world historical basis is claimed.
